Corporate Social Responsibility Statement Many companies today prefer to green their value chain by working with providers that exemplify their own commitment to sustainable ideology. OCCU-TEC takes seriously its role as a responsible corporate citizen and seeks to take account of the economic, social and environmental impacts of its operations. We define our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as the balancing of our organizational responsibilities to our stakeholders, the environment and society.
We actively encourage employees and neighbors to conserve valuable resources through our own green facility improvements, including recycling bins for both hazardous and non-hazardous wastes. This initiative not only benefits OCCU-TEC, but our neighbors as well. This promotes environmentally friendly practices throughout the operations and impacts our environment beyond our own footprint. We are active in the community. Our administration, management and staff actively support not-for-profit community housing and environmental organizations by donating time, effort and skills for the benefit of the community at large. OCCU-TEC is committed to creating an environment that draws upon the strength of the diversity of our workforce to meet and exceed the expectations of our customers. We are adopting and distributing organizational policies and procedures and provided training to all personnel to assist in its diversity initiative.

This includes the scrutiny of our own carbon footprint, our ethics, workplace diversity, community involvement, health and safety and the economic impact of our decisions. We have defined our carbon footprint and developed a strategy and a plan to increase energy efficiency and reduce our carbon emissions to the lowest practicable and economic level thru an increased understanding of our waste stream and work habits.
