OCCU-TEC Awarded

GSA Schedule Contract

Contract Number GS-10F-0091T

 

OCCU-TEC has been awarded its Federal Supply Schedule Contract.  The Contract allows us to provide services for Special Item Numbers (“SINs”) 899-2 Environmental Compliance Services and 899-3 Environmental Occupation Training Services.  Additionally, OCCU-TEC is now listed on the GSA Advantage system for Federal Customers.


Employers Must Post Injury/Illness Summaries

Beginning February 1, 2007

Beginning today, employers must post a summary of the total number of job-related injuries and illnesses that occurred last year. Employers are only required to post the Summary (OSHA Form 300A) -- not the OSHA 300 Log -- from February 1 to April 30, 2007. Copies of OSHA Forms 300, 300A and 301 are available on the OSHA Recordkeeping Web page.


OSHA Unveils New Safety and Health Topics Page

OSHA has developed a new safety and health topics information page aimed at demonstrating that investment in workplace safety and health makes good business sense. Making the Business Case for Safety and Health is a product of several alliances with OSHA, including the American Industrial Hygiene Association, American Society of Safety Engineers, National Federation of Independent Business, among others. The page highlights information on how a comprehensive safety and health program can help employers save money while protecting their employees.
